Have you heard of the Bahama’s new Goliath Baha Mar complex? It’s huge, huge travel news, and one of the biggest projects to come out of the Caribbean in…maybe forever, actually. When it’s finished in late 2014, the multi-billion dollar Baha Mar – or “the Bahamian Riviera”– will have almost 3,000 hotel rooms in multiple hotels, a sprawling casino, an 18-hole golf course, more than a dozen pools, and over 3,000 feet of ocean front. So…big news!
The newest property to be announced at Baha Mar is the new Melia Nassau Beach, and we got a sneak peek! So what can you expect?
Most importantly, it’s going to be the first all-inclusive property in the complex. And Melia doesn’t cut corners with its all-inclusive program – it’ll feature five restaurants, multiple bars (including some swim-up), 24-hour room service…basically, enough food and drinks to keep you busy your entire vacation.
In addition to the unbridled joy that is all-inclusiveness, Melia will be doing an almost total update of the existing property’s restaurants, pools, lobby, and rooms. So after you’ve lounged around your new room and grabbed dinner in one of its fancy new restaurants, you can check out one of the outdoor heated pools, lay around the gorgeous beach, or pay a visit to the oceanfront fitness center (because again…all those restaurants and bars).
