After months of study, the Federal Aviation Administration announced that they would relax restrictions on portable electronics like e-readers and smartphones being used while the plane is still below 10,000 feet. Visit FAA’s website for news and more information on the recently announced regulation changes. Also, be sure to check with your carrier for the details on your particular flight. And don’t worry – as of now, there are still no plans to allow cell phone calls onboard.
